I'm kinda pathetic.

I don't always follow back, but I still interact with people.

Welcome to my little corner of Alternity.

Infographics on HIV

At Design for development we aim to make complex information simple and clear. We believe that when people are given accurate, factual information about a subject such as health, it helps them make better life choices. Equal Treatment, the magazine published by TAC, has been providing information about HIV for more than a decade.

This is our fifth year designing this useful resource and we have created quite a few infographics from research data supplied by TAC. If you are working in the HIV treatment literacy field, we, together with TAC, would like to share some of these graphic resources with you. Download the HIV Life Cycle hereand the Fight against HIV infographic here.

All resources are published under a creative commons license.

Equal Treatment magazine is freely available for download on the TAC website

Changes in the Rate of Expansion over Time

This diagram reveals changes in the rate of expansion since the universe’s birth 15 billion years ago. The more shalow the curve, the faster the rate of expansion. The curve changes noticeably about 7.5 billion years ago, when objects in the universe began flying apart as a faster rate. Astronomers theorize that the faster expansion rate is due to a mysterious, dark force that is pulling galaxies apart.
I use this image for my post about the void theory published on Doc Madhattan (in the network Field of Science!). The post is a more detailed version of my answer to frankietwohats and I finally published the same post on my italian blog, DropSea.
